Error 0x5010: Virtualization / hypervisor conflict

This error is commonly caused by virtualization or a hypervisor blocking a driver.

Disabling virtualization can break VMs and some security features.

Only do this if support tells you to.

Restart your PC

Restart once.

Try again.

If it still fails, disable CPU virtualization

Open BIOS/UEFI.

Disable:

• Intel VT-x (Intel)

• AMD-V / SVM (AMD)

Boot back into Windows.

Retry.

If you can’t find the setting

The wording depends on your motherboard vendor.

Open a ticket and send your motherboard model.
