Open Windows Security.
Use Start menu search and select Windows Security from the results.
In the left menu, open App & browser control.
In the Exploit protection section, click Exploit protection settings.
In System settings, make sure the mitigations are not turned off.
For each item:
If it’s set to On, change it to Use default (recommended).
Avoid per-app overrides unless support tells you to change them.
Close Windows Security.
Restart your PC to ensure the settings are applied everywhere.
Keep exploit protection disabled unless support explicitly tells you otherwise.
Once you’re done, Windows will enforce exploit mitigations system-wide using the configured defaults.
